We look forward to working with you to build progressive networks and to strengthen our vibrant community.

Founded in 1999 by Supervisor Keith Carson, the Socially Responsible Network was created as a way to facilitate ongoing communications and networking among community based organizations and services providers.  Members of our organization are a collective of politically progressive organizations that share the challenge of advocating for social justice, and improving the quality of life for Alameda County residents.  In 2005 we worked to establish our 501(c)3 status and created an Advisory Board to lead and serve the SRN as we head towards the future.
